I took the original block and cut it into 4 pieces as I didn't think it looked liberated enough. Then the first row was supposed to be crumb blocks in any shape you wanted to cut them. I had a bunch of pieces and old blocks in purples and greens so I cut them into 3 inch strips and made my borders. I think it is starting to look interesting. Hope they approve.
