swaps with orange group

I made this for my swap partner Shawn. She wanted a pincushion  or a potholder and liked rootbeer candy. Her favorite color is orange and she like owls.
I wanted a mug rug so my swap buddy Jackie made this for me. Really pretty and the quilting is perfect.

Baby quilt for 2012 challenge

My quild has decided to do baby quilts for our show in 2012. The biggest difference will be the fabrics we each choose. After the show we will be donating the quilts to a hospital for newborns.

new blocks to be sent in for add a border

Crazy Wedges, square in a square, pink and green blocks, and crazy patch

orange bee block for Amy

Two new add a border blocks

This was called Double geese so for my border I wanted to add more geese
This block was called leftover rails but the last border turned it into a star so I decided to extend the border into my border. I also thought it needed more blue to brighten up the block.

Additional add a border blocks

This first block came to me as a 6 inch crazy block so I added 3 more blocks of craziness.
This block was called crates so I added a border of more crates

This star block has little green polka dots in the background so I made my borders green.
This block was called blue lines so I added more blue lines.

This block was a 6 inch wonky 9 patch so I added 3 more wonky 9 patches.
