January A Lovely Year of Finishes

This is my January goal for a lovely year of finishes. The pattern was from a book for faux braid quilts. It was a lot of fun but involved a lot of baggies of small parts. The second picture is the back side of the quilt.

2015 A lovely year of finishes

This is my Goal for January 2015 A lovely year of finishes. I need to quilt and bind this quilt.

2014 A lovely year of finishes end of year completions.

This has been a very productive year for me as I completed some new quilts and finished some UFO's. This group really keeps me moving along. Now if I could just figure out how to do a mosaic I would be in good shape.LOL

December goal finished for A Lovely Year of Finishes.

I finished my December goal of quilting and binding this quilt for my granddaughters Christmas quilt. I backed it with orange minkee so it is really soft. Hope she likes it.

November goal for A lovely year of finishes.

My goal for November was to get this quilt top pinned and ready to quilt. I hope to complete this by Christmas. I am also pinning a bunch of quilts to do in the new year. Pinning is my least favorite part of quilting so I usually only do it once a year and pin until I use up a whole roll of batting.

September 2014 A Lovely Year of Finishes.

I finished the quilt top for my granddaughter Lexy. This was the goal that I had for September A Lovely Year of Finishes. My great grandson  Devyn, couldn't resist peeking over the top LOL. Lexy picked out the fabrics from my stash and I gave her the choice of patterns that I have been wanting to try. I think it turned out pretty nice. I have picked out some orange Minkee to use as a backing.
